Terms of Service Coastal Maid Service LLC Effective Date: April 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website https://coastalmaidservice.com and our cleaning services. By accessing the website, booking services, or communicating via SMS, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Coastal Maid Service LLC provides professional cleaning for homes, short-term rentals (STRs/Airbnb), and offices in the Berlin, Ocean City, and surrounding Maryland areas. All cleaning staff are independent subcontractors.

Service details, scope, and pricing are confirmed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse or modify services for safety or other reasonable reasons.

2. Scheduling and Appointments

Bookings can be made via the website, phone (443-998-4439), email, or SMS (+1 443-373-5287). We send SMS confirmations and reminders. By providing your mobile number, you consent to these transactional messages (see Privacy Policy for opt-out instructions). You must provide accurate access information (keys, codes, entry instructions). We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate or incomplete access details.

3. Payment

We accept cash or credit card. All payments and any deposits are determined on a per-job/client basis and are due as agreed at the time of booking or upon completion of service.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice (excluding weekends/holidays) to cancel or reschedule without a fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee of up to 50% of the service cost. We may cancel due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen issues and will notify you promptly.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours from the time the job is completed. We will work with you to address the issue (for example, by arranging a re-clean where reasonable).

6. Client Responsibilities

Provide safe and clear access to the property.

Remove hazards (e.g., excessive clutter) and secure valuables and personal items.

Inform us of any special cleaning needs or restricted areas.

For STR/Airbnb turnovers: Ensure the property aligns with your platform’s guest-ready requirements. We clean according to the agreed scope.

We are not responsible for loss or damage to unsecured valuables, pre-existing conditions, or normal wear and tear.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from inaccurate information you provide, unsafe property conditions, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on https://coastalmaidservice.com is owned by Coastal Maid Service LLC and may not be used without permission.

10. SMS Messaging

SMS communications are strictly transactional (booking, confirmation, and reminders). Reply STOP to opt out. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Worcester County, Maryland.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
